Founded under current ownership in 2016 as Maverick Well Pluggers, Maverick Companies began as a one stop shop for well plugging and plug and abandonment services. Since then, we have grown into a comprehensive oilfield services company supporting operators throughout the Permian Basin and Delaware Basin in Texas and New Mexico.

Today, Maverick Companies provides specialized energy and oilfield services to major oil and gas operators, the State of Texas, and the federal government.

Safety is the foundation of every Maverick Companies operation. We maintain active compliance and membership with ISNetworld and PEC Safety, and every employee completes comprehensive safety training before entering a customer site.

Our safety program includes PEC SafeLand/SafeGulf training, fit testing, Behavior Based Safety and Near Miss Reporting, DOT and Non DOT Driver Safety programs, ongoing iScout training, monthly safety meetings, and customer specific compliance training.
